Walay Problemang Dili Mapukan, Kon Pag-ampo Ang Saligan
Even if you build buildings as strong as a fortified garrison but if it is “the will of God” to destroy them, everything will just crumble and fall apart like a house of cards and nobody can stop it! Who can expect that a big portion of the Pentagon in America will be destroyed considering its massive strength in its architectural and engineering design aimed to withstand any kind of force? But when it was slammed by a roaring jet plane driven and commanded by a determined 9/11 terrorist, after it easily fell apart killing some the occupants inside. There’s no other powerful form of protection stronger than anyone can get in his faith through prayer, remember the saying? “Prayer can move mountains?!”
Footnote: It has been a heated discussion joined by several readers after a news item featured a story about the government plan to build strong buildings in storm ravaged areas to anticipate destruction caused by typhoons and earthquakes. It generated a lot of comments from readers and their views differ in “choosing strategic locations and the amount to spend” to guarantee its massive strength. But our government will just be wasting their precious funds if it heavily concentrates on that subject, thereby consequently ignoring some important aspects of development in other areas urgently needed by the people in general.
