Vivo Launches the V5 Plus, The First-ever Smartphone with A 20MP Dual Front Camera In Southeast Asia and India

Leading smartphone manufacturer Vivo has recently launched its revolutionary Vivo V5 Plus in Southeast Asia and India, the first smartphone with a 20MP dual front camera in the region, following the newly released brand tagline “Camera & Music”.

Co-engineered with Sony, the V5 Plus features a 20MP front camera, Selfie Softlight, and a sophisticated image processing algorithm. The 20MP resolution with an f/2.0 large aperture, 5P lenses and 1/2.78” sensor size generates outstanding portrait shots under all circumstances.

The combination of this powerful 20MP camera and a secondary camera creates a professional-grade bokeh effect comparable to large-aperture DSLR cameras. The Selfie Softlight feature creates the lighting effects of a professional photography studio that allows users to capture their beauty in all lighting conditions. Users will also obtain a better photography experience with Vivo’s advanced shot refocus by adding focus even after the photo was taken.

With music in Vivo’s genes, the V5 Plus delivers a tremendously enjoyable music experience, following its predecessors. By applying an iconic custom-made AK4376 with a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of up to 115 dB, the smartphone can restore every detail of a music piece with ultimate sound quality.
