SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA)was estimated based on all available data at 85km East of Catarman, Northern Samar (12.4N, 125.4E). Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern and Central Luzon.

FORECAST:

Cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over Samar provinces while cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected over Cebu and the rest of Visayas including Palawan and Occidental Mindoro due to LPA.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over the Eastern section of Visayas with moderate to rough seas. Light to moderate winds from the Northeast to North will prevail over the rest of Visayas, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro and the coastal waters along these areas will be slight to moderate.
