Visayas Weather Forecast: December 19, 2017

SYNOPSIS: At 4:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression “URDUJA” was estimated based on all available data at 240 km West Northwest of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan (10.2 °N, 116.6 °E) with maximum winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 60 km/h. It is forecast to move West Southwest at 18 kph. Tail-End of a Cold Front is affecting the Eastern section of Northern Luzon.

FORECAST:

Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to trough of Tropical Depression Urduja. Occidental Mindoro and the Visayas will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the East to Northeast will prevail over Palawan and Occidental Mindoro and from the East over Eastern Visayas and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Meanwhile, Light to moderate winds blowing from the East to Northeast will prevail over rest of Visayas with slight to moderate seas.
