VECO Power Outage Schedules for July 21-27, 2018

The Visayan Electric Company (VECO) released their power outage schedules for July 21 to July 27. The power outage will give way for the maintenance of electrical posts, power lines, upgrading or replacement of transformers, and others. The power outage may last for eight hours.

Here are the schedules and places that will be affected by the power outage:

July 21 (Saturday)
[1] Time: 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (8 hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate extension of primary lines
Areas affected: Portion of Minglanilla (Pakigne, Lipata, Calajoan, & Tungkil) along Happy Farm, Carlo & Pag-ibig Sts. including portion of Sitios Cantibhang, Moryo Moryo, Riverside, & Kantibhak, Villa Celina Subd., Lite Property Subd., South Plains Subd. & Holaysan Subd., Helpmate Inc., Cebu J.E.S.Premiere Property Development Corporation & JBT Corporation

[2] Time: 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (7 hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate reconstruction of secondary line
Areas affected: Portion of Cebu City (Capitol Site) along Don Pedro Rodriguez St.

[3] Time: 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. (5 hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate upgrading of transformer
Areas affected: Portion of Talisay City (San Isidro) including portion of Sitio Siba & Ramona Village

[4] Time: 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (8 hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate relocation of pole
Areas affected: Portion of Talisay City (Tapul) & Minglanilla (Cuanos & Tubod) including portion of Sitios Canluntao, Pugon, Lubas, Kabulihan, Banggaan, & Cotton, Hawanay Elementary School & Cuanos Elem. School, Barangay Hall/Health Center, Senior San Roque Chapel

July 22 (Sunday)
[1] Time: 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. (8 hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate reconstruction of primary lines
Areas affected: Portion of Cebu City (Talamban & Bacayan) & Mandaue City (Cabancalan) along Cabancalan & Banilad Rds, Gorordo Ave. & M.L.. Quezon St including portion of St. Johnville Subd. & Carmel Drive Subd., ALAGC Cmpd., Island Souvenirs Inc., Centurion Security Agency Inc., Innove Communication Inc CE- 050, & Carmel Drive Association Inc., JO Brothers Devt. & Realty Corp., & GPH Properties Corp.

July 24 (Tuesday)
[1] Time: 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. (8 hrs)
Purpose: To facilitate re-conductoring of primary line
Areas affected: Portion of Cebu City (San Antonio, Kamagayan & Sta Cruz) along Jones Ave., Don Pedro Cui, D Jakosalem, RR Landon, & P. Del Rosario Sts. including portion of Solon Cmpd., Sunstar Publishing Inc, Feangelsun’s Realty Corp., Cherched Bros. Realty Corp., & El Fortunato Property Ventures Corp.

July 25 (Wednesday)

Purpose: To facilitate installation of transformer

July 26 (Thursday)

Purpose: To facilitate relocation of pole
