Two Cebu Graduates Tops Optometrist Board Examination
Two graduates from Cebu topped the Optometrist Board Exam that was held last July in different examination venues set by the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC).
The top 4 board passer of the Optometrist Board Exam was Shayne Allyssa Pelingon of Southwestern University (SWU) . She passed with a rating of 87.90% in the board exams.
While, Israel Martinez, a graduate of Cebu Doctors’ University (CDU) placed tenth in the Optometrist Board Exams last July. Martinez passed the board exam with a rating of 87.01%
As announced by PRC, out of the 295 who took the Optometrist Board Exams 260 passed (88.14% passing rate this year).
The Optometrist Board Exam’s written examinations was held on July 10-12, 2019 while the practical examinations was held on July 15-18, 2019
The results were released four working days after the examination. (ASC)
