TV’s ‘Queen of Travel’ Susan Calo-Medina Passes Away – NCCA

Television travel host Susan Calo-Medina passed away on Friday, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) said.

NCCA, in its Facebook account, expresses condolences to the family of the Travel Time host.

Medina was known for hosting the longest-running and award-winning travel show in the Philippines, “Travel Time”, hosting the show since 1986. She earned the title “TV’s Queen of Travel.”

Medina also hosted the cultural TV show “Tipong Pinoy” with singer Wency Cornejo on GMA Network.

She was also a former member of the NCCA’s National Committee on Communication.
