Trust

I am reading the promises from the Bible. How can I trust that God will do what He says?
“But in you, Lord; I say, “You are my God.” Psalm 31:14

“So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,” Ephesians 3:17

Trusting God is an ongoing process based on a personal relationship with Him (by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ in your life). When you know Him, you will love Him. The more you love Him, the more you will trust Him. As your roots grown down deep into Him, you will find Him to be completely worthy of your trust.

“And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of Truth, the Gospel of your Salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:13-14
