Trees, Houses Damaged in Naga
Super typhoon “Yolanda” uprooted a total of 60 centuries-old trees, and totally damaged 60 houses when it hit the City of Naga last Friday.
Garry Cabotaje, the city’s spokesperson, said apart from those figures, 1,300 families had evacuated before the storm made a landfall on Friday. Despite this bad news, Cabotaje said they were glad to know that they had zero casualty. “It helped that the people evacuated from their homes before the storm came in,” he said.
Meanwhile, Cabotaje said apart from the relief goods the city gave to the victims, homeless families will also receive aid from the Naga city government.
