Tokyoflash Unveiled Wooden LCD Watch
Normally, watches are made out of stainless steel and other precious metals. Having said that, Tokyoflash has unveiled weird looking timepieces – the Kisai Maru Wood which features an intuitive time display in mirrored LCD, framed by a custom designed natural wood case.
The inner facing hand points to the hour, the outer facing hand points to the minutes. It’s just like a conventional clock.
The Maru will not be powered by termites running on a treadmill within, but will instead continue to rely on a standard battery. While it might feature a wooden band and case, there are still metal bits and pieces within. Those who are interested can pick up the Tokyoflash Maru for $99, which is a promotional price for the next couple of days.
