This Smart Accessory Will Turn Your Existing Watch Into A Smartwatch

A team from Canada created Glance, the first smart accessory to turn your existing watch into a smartwatch. It is basically an accessory that tells you who is calling, helps you find your phone, enables motion control and track your activities.

This lightweight device is crafted out of aluminum that fits on the wristband of a watch, and works well with your personal style. It sports a small OLED display, a single full color LED notifier as well as 3D motion detection and Bluetooth 4.0 for connecting with smartphone.

The Glance’s OLED display can show you the caller ID, read incoming text messages powered by Spritz and allows you to respond to messages quickly by the touch of a button. Another touch can help locate your phone.

Glance is waterproof of up to 5 ATM and available in three sizes: 18mm, 22mm and 26mm. It comes with an Android and iOS app. Support for Blackberry and Windows Phone is promised down the line.

Glance is currently a Kickstarter project aiming to raise $150,000 CAD to start mass production.
