The Future is Here: Japanese Startup releases videos of the First Manned Test Flight of a Flying Car
Japanese startup SkyDrive has confirmed the completion of the first manned test flight of its SD-03 flying car, releasing videos of the flying vehicle in all of its glory.
The test flights for the SD-03 were conducted on August 25 at a 10,000-square-meter Toyota Test Field and lasted for around four minutes. A pilot was in the SD-03, with a computer-assisted control system being used, along with technical staff that continuously monitored flight conditions and the flying car’s performance for stability and safety, according to a press release from SkyDrive.
The SD-03 is a Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL), The aircraft has one seat and operates with eight motors and two propellers on each corner. (GFB)
