The Chillage Experience
Just a few drives away from the buzz of the Metro, one can find the perfect place to take a chill pill from the endless beach parties and night-outs this season brings.
The Chillage is a café boutique owned by 26-year-old fashion enthusiast Beatriz Borja who decided to turn her passion into business late December last year. She conceptualized a place to have just about everything a person would need in one tasteful setting – fashion, food, and fun.
“It’s the only place where you can shop, eat and play,” Nicole Ring, Marketing Head of The Chillage said.
Customers who drop by the café boutique can choose from the impressive array of clothes that are personally handpicked by the owner. At the same time, they can also treat their taste buds to the mouth-watering desserts in the menu. The place also boasts of a “playroom” complete with green grass and a swing set for all those who crave for a little
childhood fun time.
The Chillage, taken from the terms “chill” and “village”, is also a lot to take in especially to the eyes of first-time goers. The place is a collaboration of both hip and vintage with just the right amount of mismatched furniture to keep customers interested.
“The whole place is a mix of things. We want to keep it simple but at the same time, keep it classy,” Ring said.

Ring added they will be launching new food choices to add up to the menu this May, promising a “playful and filling” treat customers would surely love.
The Chillage is located at the Ground Floor Andama Building, Larrazabal Ave., North Reclamation, Mandaue City, Cebu. They are open 10am-10pm from Mondays to Saturdays. You might also want to drop by The Chillage on April 27 as they celebrate Adhesive Art with local artists UBEC Crew.
