Tesda to Bridge Gaps in the ASEAN Integration
To continuously enhance partnership with the private sector, industries and local government in the aim of setting the bar of skills competency and excellence for the ASEAN Integration.
This is the main goal for gathering technical vocational education and training institutions and industry partners in a forum dubbed “Raising the Quality of TVET: A Key to Regional Economic Integration and Global Excellence.”
Tesda’s technical-vocational education programs are industry-driven and competency-based allowing flexibility and adaptability of the graduates to the changing work demands in the Asean region and the world.
Industry partners nationwide are set to join the forum to discuss: The Philippine Quality Award; The Asia-Pacific Accreditation and Certification of TVET Institutions; The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation of TVET programs; and ISO 29990- Learning Services for Non-Formal Education and Training – Basic Requirements.
The forum is part of the celebration of the TVET month. It will be held on September 9, 2015 at the J. Centre Convention Hall in Mandaue City.
