Chef Rosseler Camomot, maker of one of the , Spicy Beef Rendang, even shared his excitement on this milestone in his career, “I am indeed very grateful that Mr. Hauri and Miss Avila gave us an opportunity to become part of Chef’s United. This exposure is something that we, chefs, truly take pride in.” Camomot, who was once a dishwasher shared that hopefully after this event he would be able to pursue his goal in becoming a Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) instructor. He aims to help those who are less fortunate in attaining all their big goals in the food and beverage industry.
Chef Riz Degamo on the hand, maker of the Baked Pasta in a Pumpkin, also shared her thoughts on this matter. “The kitchen is truly dominated by men, and being the only girl among the 10 chefs is fine. I sometimes consider myself one of the boys. This is truly no hindrance in making innovative dishes.”
