Tech and Fashion Merge with Swings Bluetooth Earrings

Creating technology that is beautiful and functional, Scandi Electronics launched the innovative Swings Bluetooth Earrings – a pair of earrings doubling as earphones – through a Kickstarter campaign earlier in July.

The way the Swings works is simple: wear them like you do any other pair of dangling earrings, then “swing” the hanging beads up in your ears whenever you’re in the mood for music, a podcast, or a quick call with a friend. In this way, it won’t get lost, fall out, or get tangled around your bag or whatever; common setbacks with the traditional earphones design are all solved with Swings.

Combining advanced audio tech with wearable art, Scandi’s Swings is stunningly simple, lightweight, and comfortable while providing quality sound experience and stability in use. This thoughtful invention comes in two models, namely Swings and Swings Sport.

Swings is fashioned in a classic design worthy of being a go-to accessory for any occasion. It offers three color combinations to choose from namely silver/white, gold/white, and rose gold/white. For a pair of this standard model, a pledge of 179 USD – or 349 USD if you want them encrusted in Swarovski crystals – is needed.

Swings Sport is the athletic version of the device and is designed specifically for workouts or other such activities involving a lot of physical movement. It is sweat-resistant and shock-proof. Swings Sport also comes in a sleek all-black color that makes it easy for it to mesh well with gym clothes. To get a pair of Swings Sport, one must pledge 129 USD. Pledge an extra 20 USD to get access to interchangeable bands in the colors of red, yellow, pink, and violet to change up the Swing Sport’s look.

Both models include features such as dual microphones, noise cancellation technology, touch sensors or motion accelerators, and support for AI services including Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant. Swings is also hypoallergenic with silicone comfort-cap back.

For battery life, Swings can last up to 5 hours of listening time when fully charged. It is recharged through a 24-hour battery life case, in which 15 minutes of charging time adds 3 hours of listening time.

Swings is compatible with iPhone, Mac, iPad, Android, among others.

The Swings Bluetooth Earrings is an all-or-nothing campaign in Kickstarter.com. The project will be funded only if it reaches its 200,00 USD goal by August 25, 2018. If successful, the product will be shipped to backers on April 2019. (Adapted by Lara Angeli Eviota)
