Talisay Police Conducts “Oplan Limpyo Talisay”

The Talisay City Police Station under the leadership of Police Major Gerard Ace Pelare conducted “Oplan Limpyo Talisay” that led to the arrest of 3 High Value Target (HVT) and yielded almost P500,000 worth of illegal drugs.

Talisay police conducted 5 simultaneous service of warrant against HVTs in Barangay Tabunok, Tangke, San Isidro, Linao and Lagtang.

“Oplan Limpyo Talisay” aims to arrest illegal personalities following the direct order of the Provincial Director, Police Colonel Roderick Mariano and Police Regional Office-7 Regional Director Police Brigadier General Valeriano de Leon.

A 27-year old woman and another 29-year old convict woman was arrested along with another 29-year old man.

The remaining 2 HVTs eluded arrest during the said operation and the police is now conducting a follow-up operation.

Meanwhile, PMAJ. Pelare said that this kind of operations will serve as a warning to those who are still involved in illegal drug trade to put a complete stop in their business. (MLC)
