Talisay Fire Station Awarded as “Best Fire Station” in Region-7

The Talisay City Fire Station was awarded as the “Best Fire Station” in Central Visayas (Region-7) during the 46th Fire Service Recognition Day Celebration at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino on Tuesday, December 17.

The celebration, dubbed as “Bumbero, Dakila ka: Isang Natatanging Pagkilala sa mga Makabagong Bayan (As a fireman, you are recognized by the world as a hero)” aims to give recognition to the members of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) that excel in their respective jobs.

The basis of the said award was the response speed, quality of customer service, cleanliness and maintenance of records of respective fire stations.

Talisay City Fire Station also bagged the “Junior Fire Officer of the year” awarded to Senior Inspector Arra Alpajaro.

Meanwhile, Consolacion Fire Station got the award as the “Best Municipal Fire Station”. (MLC)
