First Music Video Recorded in Space

A singing astronaut, Christian Hadfield on the International Space Station is doing his very own acoustic rendition of David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” out of orbit.
The International Space Station Commander Hadfield was currently en route back to Earth, when he recorded what is believed to be the first music video from space.
The video was uploaded to YouTube on Sunday, and it already has more than one million views. People are impressed with the astronaut’s performance.
Not only that, it appears that David Bowie is impressed with the video. When Hadfield tweeted the video, Bowie tweeted back, “Hallo Spaceboy…”
Hadfield, who’s Canadian, is already well-known to space and science enthusiasts. He regularly tweets pictures from his space travels and shares his thoughts on what he’ll do once he returns to Earth. He has gained more than 825,000 followers on Twitter so far.
