Tail-end of Cold Front to Bring Rains Over Eastern Section of Luzon
Expect rains in the eastern section of Luzon on Tuesday due to the tail-end of the cold front, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
“The tail-end of a cold front will affect the Eastern Section of Northern and Central Luzon,” PAGASA said in its 5 a.m. weather bulletin.
The tail-end of the cold front serves as the front boundary of two air masses, hot and cold, that produces clouds and rain.
In its Tuesday forecast, cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over the provinces of Isabela and Aurora while cloudy skies with light rains over the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera and the rest of Cagayan Valley.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
It added moderate to occasionally strong winds from the northeast to east will prevail over northern and eastern section of Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east with slight to moderate seas. (PNA) JBP/CLTC
