Taco Bell’s $1 Menu Expands
Taco Bell’s “$1 Cravings” Menu might earn the appetite of the company’s national customers in these coming months.
Just this January, Taco Bell announced its plan to expand its “low-end” value option by implementing the said affordable menu, the test markets in Kansas City, Mo., and Sacramento, Calif.
This replaces the company’s former offer “Why Pay More” where their products are priced at 79 cents, 89 cents and 99 cents. These prices bloated over time and weren’t enough to meet the customers’ wants and needs.
“$1 Menu” Cravings has 12 items which includes the new beefy cheesy burrito, spicy potato soft taco, shredded chicken mini quesadilla and beef crunchito.
In the US, fast-food chains like Taco Bell had been touting cheap products to customers to attract them at a time when the industry is barely growing and competition is intensifying.
Taco Bell is owned by Yum Brands Inc., which also owns KFC and Pizza Hut.
