Swimming with the Whale Sharks

You probably have heard about it, but in case you haven’t – you can watch, snorkel, or dive with whale sharks in Oslob, Cebu!

Whale Sharks Adventure is one of the most awesome things you can do here in Cebu. It gives you a thrilling and fun experience even for not a good swimmer. At first, seeing them up close is really frightening but then everything would just feel natural.

It is found in Tan-awon Oslob with a 3-hour drive from Cebu City. For 500 pesos (local rate), it includes a 3 minutes briefing, 1 ticket good for 30 minutes. You can also hire a local photographer for P550, which includes CD of photos taken underwater with sharks. Whale shark watching is open from 6:00am – 12:30 pm everyday for whole year round except on Good Friday.
