Suspect Of Mother And Son Murder Surrenders

San Pedro City, Laguna – Christian Paras, 30, suspect in the murder Melanie Templanza, 32 and Rome Andrei, 4, surrendered himself to Senior Supt. Florendo Saligao, former Laguna police director at Agdangan, Quezon province on Monday afternoon.

The bodies of the victims were found in their house in Birminghan Subdivision in Barangay Pulo on July 1. The victims had stab wounds on their necks when they were found.

Saligao said Para admitted to killing the victims but did not know what drove him to attack them.

Investigations show that Paras was Melanie’s classmate in college.
