When the sun gets hotter, the desire to cool off somewhere memorable gets stronger. It is only a matter of finding the right adventure.

The Cebu Provincial Tourism Office created just the right package for travel enthusiasts. The package is inclusive of fare, accommodation, meals, and entrance fees. This is exciting news, especially for those who haven’t tried Suroy-Suroy Sugbo yet. Within three days and two nights, guests will get to enjoy much more than what Cebu always offers–sunset, sunrise, a whole lot of nature, culture, and amenities.

The Provincial Tourism Office has set up Suroy-Suroy Sugbo stalls in selected locations to lure locals, foreign tourists, and balikbayans to join.

One of the Suroy-Suroy Sugbo series this year is an escapade to Camotes on April 22-24. Provincial Tourism Officer Grace Paulino, during the recent Kapistorya, said that Suroy-Suroy Sugbo will take guests to three municipalities: Poro, San Francisco, and Tudela.

Going to Camotes in style? It’s happening this trip. According to Paulino, there’s been clamor from guests to go to Camotes by fastcraft, which is quicker and more convenient for travelers, cutting down travel time by an hour.

By fastcraft, the first stop would be Boho Rock resort for all to experience and feel the sea breeze. From there, one could see the beauty of Poro. Then it would be off to the famous Lake Danao and Santiago in San Francisco. Another first for the upcoming Suroy-Suroy Sugbo is the Sunrise Cruise the management of Lake Danao is offering, but optional to guests because only two boats are available and can accommodate 50 persons. A variety of bird species and ducks are sure to catch everyone’s attention.

The Suroy-Suroy Sugbo is not complete without visiting Bukilat Cave and Busay Falls in Tudela. Souvenirs and pasalubong are affordable at the Poblacion or market area.

Aside from the tours, the Provincial Tourism Office also lined up exciting themed dinners that come with games and prizes from sponsors, all designed to forge new friendships among strangers.
