Sun Life Boosts Efforts to Increase Awareness on Health and Wealth
Sun Life, a leading international financial services organization, boosts its efforts in encouraging Filipinos to achieve a balance between wealth and health through organizing a line-up of activities at Shangrila Mactan at the hype of Ironman70.3.
“Sun Life encourages every Filipino to live free and pursue their passions,and this is definitely possible if they can achieve the balance between wealth and health. Ironman 70.3 is a great venue to highlight this message,” Sun Life Chief Marketing Officer, Mylene Lopa said.
To promote their goal, Sun Life has prepared activities not “just for the racers (to enjoy) but also for their families who traveled all the way to support them”.
These activities include consultation with financial advisers, exposure of company’s different financial health protection products and exhibition offun games.
Aside from promoting financial wellness in an interesting way, they are also pushing physical fitness as a compliment.
Thus, they have also prepared the Sun Life Wellness Studio, where Ironman attendees can relax amidst the hectic preparations. Also, they have healthy smoothies, massages and other exciting activities made available for everyone to enjoy for free.
Open-to-the-public zumba sessions are also conducted by premiere dance instructor Jill Ngo.

So Sun Life deem that Ironman 70.3 is a perfect venue for Sun Life to increase people’s awareness on the need to take care of their health as well as their health,” Mylene D. Sun Life Team for Ironman 70.3
Led by Sun Life’s executives and brand ambassador, Piolo Pascual, the company has created 3 teams as representatives for Ironman 70.3.
First team is composed of the President and CEO herself, Rizal Mantaring (run), Toots Malapad (swim) and Gerald Custodia (bike).
Second team is an all-male group composed of Sun Life Chief Investments Officer, Michael Enriquez (bike), Jan Michael Chiu (swim), and Don Gutierrez (run).
Lastly, the third team which is also an all-male team is composed of Larry Medilla (swim), Toniel Ty (run), and Sun Life Ambassador, Piolo Pascual (bike).

Sun Life is also proud to have Mr. Kenneth Cobonpue, multi-awarded industrial designer and Ironman 70.3’s medal creator, as their brand ambassador.
