Strong Earthquake Strikes Vanuatu Islands
Kuala Lumpur (PNA/Bernama) — A strong earthquake, measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale, struck the Vanuatu Islands located between Australia and Fiji at 5.52 am Wednesday, according to the Meteorological Services Department.
The epicentre of the quake was 5,837 km southeast of Tawau in Sabah, it said in a statement.
