Storm Warning in Cebu Lifted
As Typhoon Tisoy continues to affect some parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) recently lifted the storm signal warning in the northern part of Cebu at 11 a.m. today.
PAGASA said that the weather in Cebu has improved recently.
Tisoy is now moving west at 25kph with sustained winds of 150 kph and gustiness of up to 205kph.
Meanwhile, some sea and air trips that were earlier canceled are now back on regular operations.
Classes in almost all cities and towns in Cebu are still suspended by respective mayors for safety purposes.
Tisoy made landfall in Gubat, Sorsogon at 11 pm on Monday, December 2 and brought severe damage to houses and other properties. (MLC)
