Storm-Free Philippines Seen Until Weekend
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Thursday the country will remain storm-free in the next three days.
PAGASA weather forecaster Shelley Ignacio said the agency has not seen any weather disturbance near the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) that may develop into tropical cyclone within the next three days or until weekend.
Ignacio said except for isolated thunderstorms, warm and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country due to the easterlies or warm winds.
For Thursday forecast, partly cloudy to cloudy skies will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail throughout the archipelago and its the coastal waters will be slight to moderate. (PNA) JMC/CLTC/Christian Robert M. Roxas(OJT)
