Sto. Niño Chapel Now Open For Public
The latest landmark in Cebu City, the Santo Niño Chapel, is finally opened to the public.
Located at the front of Cebu City Hall’s Administrative building, specifically at Senior Citizens’ Park in Cebu City the chapel is open for the faithful, especially senior citizens to pray or meditate or just stroll around the chapel. The chapel is also a good venue for special occasions such as weddings.
A 30-foot statue of the Senyor Sto. Niño also towers the chapel which was blessed by Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma on Sunday.
Cebu2World (C2W) Chair Louie Ferrer, said that they asked permission from the Cebu Clergy to hold masses and weddings at the said chapel.
Palma also held the first mass in the chapel last Sunday.
The chapel also boasts a nice view of the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX). Food stalls can also be found around the chapel with well-maintained comfort rooms for chapel goers. (ASC)
