Southern Cebu, Bohol Under Storm Signal No. 2 as TS Seniang Heads Agusan del Norte

PAGASA said at least 28 areas in Visayas and Mindanao have been placed under storm signals Monday noon as Tropical Storm Seniang made its way toward Agusan del Norte, report said.

As of 10 a.m., PAGASA said Seniang was estimated to be 33 km northeast of Butuan City or 30 km east of Cabadbaran City with packed maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph, and is forecast to move west-northwest at 11 kph.

The agency added that by Tuesday morning, it is expected to be in the vicinity of Negros Oriental and by Wednesday morning it is expected to be 160 km east of Puerto Princesa City. On Thursday morning, it is expected to be 290 km southwest of Puerto Princesa City, PAGASA said.

PAGASA warned residents in low-lying and mountainous areas to be alert against possible flash floods and landslides.
