Earthquake aftermath

On the otherhand, despite of the powerful earthquake which rattled Bohol last year, the South Palms Resort Palms remained still.

“Despite the fact nga gikan nilinog ang Bohol, we surpassed the targets (in terms of sales),” shared by Fe S. Ginete, South Palms Resort Panglao Sales and Marketing Manager.

Ginete also added that after the earthquake, there were no cracks found in the edifices of their resort – which attest the resort’s structure was built with high-quality foundation.

Meanwhile, the South Palms Resort Panglao has recently celebrated its first anniversary as they marked it fruitful and successful year after they opened in 2013.

“When we decided to open a resort, we already knew that it was a challenge for us since a lot of beach resorts already exist, and it was indeed a struggle but we never failed to make grow,” said Ginete.

The South Palms Resort, is the youngest subsidiary of the Alturas Groups of Companies (AGC), occupied a ¾ portion of the former Bohol Beach Club.
