Sony SmartEyeglass Developer Edition Open For Pre-Orders

Sony has officially announced its SmartEyeglass-Developer Edition, meaning that this isn’t the final product meant for consumers. The wearable will be priced at around $840 and will be available for pre-order in the UK and Germany. It is expected to begin shipping in March.

Sony’s SmartEyeglass acts more like a pair of goggles and will offer up a full-frame transparent lens, thus giving you a more immersive augmented reality experience. It will work in conjunction with your phone and will come with a wired controller.
