Sony Announces Xperia Z4 in Japan

Sony has announced its newest flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z4, but only in Japan.

The Xperia Z4 is just 6.9-mm thick and weigh 144g metal-and-glass body. It sports a 5.2-inch 1080p LCD screen, 20.7MP camera, a 32GB onboard storage expandable to 128GB via microSD memory cards, and a 2930mAh battery.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 2GHz 8-core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor, and 3GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and is water-and-dust resistant.

The Sony Xperia Z4 launches in Japan this summer in four shades: white, black, copper, and aqua green.

As of this writing, there’s no word on when it’ll become available globally.
