Sony A7 II Full Frame Mirrorless Camera Announced
Sony has unveiled a new mirroless camera, the Sony A7 II. The camera is basically an upgrade of last year’s Sony A7.
The A7 II introduces 5-axis stabilization, a feature found on the Olympus OM-D E-M5 back in 2012. Sony has also improved the autofocus system which will be able to focus on a subject 30% faster than its predecessor. The company has also remodelled the grip for a chunkier in-hand feel, with a more traditional DSLR-style front-mounted dial.
The Sony A7 II is set to go on sale in Sony’s homeland on December 5 where it will retail for around $1,600.
