Six Cebu PRC passers
The Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) has announced that six successful examinees from Cebu, including a former journalist and a Cebu City Hall official, topped the recent Real Estate Broker Licensure Examination.
They are Ariel P. Pantillo of the University of San Carlos (USC) ranked second with his 85 percent, Anna Fionah L. Bojos of University of Cebu (UC)-Banilad ranked third with 84.5 percent, Mark Maratas Angus of the University of the Visayas (UV), Jeanette Lynn Bermas of the University of San Jose Recoletos (USJR) and Belleza Belen Villarta of USC, all of them got 84 percent and landed fifth.
Collin N. Rosell, the head of City Hall’s Division for the Welfare of Urban Poor (DWUP) also of UC-Banilad landed seventh place with 85.5 percent rating.
Jacob Tan Ng, a graduate of Ateneo de Manila University topped the close to 3,000 examinees who took the examination in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Lucena.
Of the 2,969 who took the real estate broker licensure examination only 1,928 passed the test.
University of Cebu President Agusto W. Go is planning to give rewards to the two successful examinees from his school.
Aside from passing the licensure examination for real estate broker, Bojos also passed the bar in 2007.
Prior to studying law, Atty. Bojos’ previous work experience is in the field of journalism.
In 1993, after graduating with a degree of Bachelor of Arts, major in Mass Communications, she worked in Sun.Star Daily, but she resigned in 1997 as senior reporter in order to found a cooperative newspaper The Independent Post where she worked as chief of reporters, until the newspaper had to close on February of 1999.
