Sitio Sto. Niño, Sitio Kauswagan Fire Aftermath
221 families were displaced due to the fire incident that blazed the Sitios of Sto. Niño and Kauswagan last July 27, 2018
Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office chief Nagiel Bañacia announced the specifics of the displaced families.
The aftermath of the fire:
Sitio Sto. Niño, Brgy Kinasang-an Pardo, Cebu City
54 houses burned
72 families displaced (337 individuals)
Sitio Kauswagan, Brgy Basak Pardo, Cebu City
73 houses burned
149 families displaced (645 individuals)
According to the Cebu City Fire Department, the cost of the damage by the fire is estimated to be around P1M.
The fire victims are temporarily evacuated at Villa Zacate Gym, Basak Pardo, Cebu City. (Aljun Cainghog)
