Sinulog Activities Goes Virtual After Cancelation of Physical Activities
The Sinulog Foundation Inc. (SFI) and the steering committee headed by Cebu City Vice Mayor Michael Rama canceled all physical activities for this year’s Sinulog.
In an official statement that was posted today, the organization had decided on canceling all physical activities.
“Naka hukom sa dili na pag pahigayon sa mga nahiunang gikatakda na actual og pisical na pagpahimutang sa sangka sa sayaw sa kadalanan, ingon man sa ritual nga pagpasundayag ngadto sa South Road Properties (SRP) (It has been decided to cancel all plans on actual and physical dance competition as well as ritual dance competitions on the South Road Properties).” a snippet of the Official Statement by SFI.
However, SFI has decided to hold the ritual dance showdown virtually where the participants will record their performance in their respective areas. Additionally, all performances should be recorded before January 17, 2021.
SFI also urges the participants to strictly adhere to the safety health protocols that are set by the government. (ASC)
