SilkAir, Singapore Airlines to Hold Biggest Nationwide Travel Fair on Feb. 6-8
The SilkAir together with the Singapore Airlines will start its first-ever biggest travel fairs across the Philippines starting on February 6 to 8, 2015.
The two fairs, dubbed as “Singapore Airlines Showcase and Travel Fair” and “SilkAir Travel Fair”, will bring an exciting and exclusive array of travel opportunities to travel buffs.
“We are bringing these fairs to connect filipino customers to the world and connect the world to the beautiful places that Philippines has,” said Ganesh Perumal, SilkAir Manager Philippines.
Simultaneously, the Singapore travel fair will be held at the Glorietta Activity Center, Palm Drive and Makati City while the SilkAir’s fair will take place at Ayala Center Cebu.
At the same time, there will also be a SilkAir booth at Abreeza Mall in Davao City.
Promotions
For the first time, travel enthusiasts can get the chance to enjoy both airlines’ much coveted on-board comfort and impeccable service at exceptional all-in Economy Class fares starting from USD160 to Singapore, USD260 to Indonesia and Malaysia, USD690 to India, USD700 to Australia, and USD899 to Europe.
Also, travel promotions to Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Dubai, Maldives, New Zealand and South Africa are available during the event.
All Economy Class fares come with complimentary 30-kilogram baggage allowance, gourmet cuisines and KrisFlyer miles that can be used for future travel.
While for Business Class, passengers can avail all-in fares to Singapore and Southeast Asia at USD800, to Australia at USD2,500, to South Africa at USD3,200, Europe at USD3,500 and New Zealand at USD3,800.
There are also special Business Class fares to Maldives and Dubai.
All Business Class passengers can also enjoy complimentary 40-kilogram baggage allowance, gourmet cuisines, lounge access and 125% KrisFlyer miles.
These exceptional fares are applicable for travel from Manila, Cebu, Davao and Kalibo to Singapore and a whole host destinations worldwide.
Customers who purchase itineraries beyond Singapore at these travel fairs or at SilkAir and Singapore Airlines ticket offices during the promotional periods can also redeem a complimentary SGD20 Changi Dollar Voucher, with no minimum spend required.
The fares are for sale until February 28, 2015, with travelling period from February 1 to December 31, 2015.
However, promotional tickets cannot be purchased online, only at any Singapore Airlines and SilkAir ticket offices, or during the travel fair periods.
To make travelling more possible and convenient in terms of payments, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is also offering a real 0% special installment plan of up to six months exclusively for BPI credit cardholders.
Globe Platinum and Blue customers can also avail of these fares by showing their cards. While, the shoppers of the participating malls may also avail of the exceptional all-in fares by simply showing proofs of purchase worth PhP 1000 single or accumulated from January 21 to February 28, and can purchase one ticket.
All advertised fares are based on per person including the price of airfare ticket and associated taxes except Philippine travel tax of PhP 1,620 and terminal fee.
The so-called grandest and biggest three-day travel fair is in partnership with BPI, Ayala Malls, Globe, Singapore Tourism Board and Changi Airport Group.
