Serbisyo Malasakit Gives Services to Carreta Residents
Residents of Brgy. Carreta in Cebu City received services through “Serbisyo Malasakit” from different national government agencies and local hospitals at Brgy. Carreta gym last July 12, 2019.
Serbisyong Malasakit is a project of the Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas (OPAV) in partnership with the Cebu City Government that offers assistance and services to the residents of Cebu City.
Present agencies at the Serbisyo Malasakit activity were Philhealth, Dept. of Trade and Industry (DTI), Social Security System (SSS), Dept. of Labor & Employment (DOLE), Dept. of Agriculture (DA), Dept. of Health (DOH), Philippine National Police (PNP), Department of Education (DepEd), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine Drug Enforcement Administration (PDEA) while from the local government units, the Public Attorney’s Office, and Dept. of Veterinary Medicine and Fisheries (DVMF).
Meanwhile, free medical services were also offered by Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) and Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC).
Services offered during the Serbisyong Malasakit were ID printing, Postal ID application, Police clearance, registration and consultation for business, verification for SSS number, vacancies for employment, distribution of free seedlings, bloodletting, blood extraction and cleaning and free medicines, free massage, free medical check-up, ligation and deworming for pet dogs, and free haircut for men and women.
