Seniang Left More than P400M Agri Damage in E. Visayas

Damage to agriculture spiked to P 574, 778 million over the weekend with Eastern Visayas bearing the most damage, sustaining more than P450 million.

In its latest update, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported that the damage to agriculture is now P574, 778, 741 from last Saturday’s P 4,901,950.

The council said the damage from the Visayas regions included Western Visayas: P 102, 182, 467, Central Visayas: P12, 609, 927, and Eastern Visayas: P 455, 084, 397.

Tropical storm Seniang displaces a total of 543, 816 individuals or 116, 776 families.

Death toll remains at 55 with 8 missing and 41 injured.
