Samsung Unveiled Galaxy S4 Mini: A Powerful, Compact Smartphone

Samsung has announced the Galaxy S4 Mini, the smaller version of their bestselling Galaxy S4. The GALAXY S4 mini delivers the superior performance, intuitive ease-of-use and sleek design of the GALAXY S4 in a highly portable, chic and compact design, making it an ideal companion for everyday life.

The device packs a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display in a 107 gram chassis, 1.7GHz dual core processor, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.9-megapixel HD front-facing camera, and equipped with Samsung’s various camera editing features – such as Best Photo, HDR, and Panorama.

Many of the Galaxy S 4′s software enhancements will also be included on the Galaxy S4 Mini, with S Voice, S Translator, Group Play, and WatchON, the latter of which gets to use the Mini’s built-in infrared abilities.

S4 Mini runs in Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of storage – around 5GB of which is user-available and a microSD card slot.

Set to hit shelves in 4G LTE, or 3G HSPA+, and 3G dual-SIM forms, depending on country.  The GALAXY S4 mini will be available in two colors, White Frost and Black Mist.
