Samsung Reveals 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3
Samsung announced the successor to the Galaxy Tab 2 in the 7-inch tablet range – the Android 4.1-running Galaxy Tab 3 will be arriving this month.
Samsung revealed everything we can expect from its latest tablet, which will be powered by a dual core 1.2GHz processor and comes with either 8GB or 16GB of storage. Memory can be expanded up to 64 GB using MicroSD card slot.
The latest tablet sports a 7-inch 1024×600 pixel screen and is able to support full 1080p HD playback.
The operating system, processor and internal memory are the same as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. The tablet will come with a 3 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front camera for video-calling. Just like the previous version, the tablet will come in both: the Wi-Fi and 3G variants.
According to Samsung, the Wi-Fi version will be available worldwide in May, whereas the Wi-Fi/3G version will be hitting store shelves in June. Tablet availability will depend on individual markets.
