Samsung Dominates Android Market Share
New report shows that Samsung dominates the global android market share. The company has currently 63% share of all Android mobile devices – including smartphones, phablets and tablets while HTC and LG got 6.5% and 5.9% respectively.
The latest report also reveals that eight of the ten most popular Android smartphones are made by Samsung. It also turns out that Samsung’s Galaxy S series makes up the top three most popular Android smartphones overall.
Based on the graphical data seen below by Localytics , the only non-Samsung Android phones to complete the top 10 are the HTC One and Motorola’s Droid Razr, which make up only 1.3% and 1.1%, respectively, of all active Android smartphones.

The latest data also shows that Samsung represents five of the top 10 active Android tablets, with Galaxy Tab 2 tops the list.
