Samsung Announces The All New Galaxy Tab 4 Series
Samsung has officially announced its refreshed lineup of mid-range Android tablets – the Galaxy Tab 4 series. It comes in 7, 8 and 10-inch sizes.
All three tablets are powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and Android 4.4 KitKat software with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.
Each Tab 4 has 16GB of on-board storage, or you may opt for an 8GB version of the 7-inch model. The trio has a 3-megapixel rear camera coupled with a low-resolution camera for video chat.
All three models boast a 1,280×800 screen, which means the smallest 7-inch model has the best pixel density: 215 pixels per inch, compared to the 8-incher’s 188ppi and the 10-incher’s 149ppi.
In terms of battery, the 10-inch model has the biggest battery capacity with 6,800mAh followed by 4,450mAh of 8-inch model. Unfortunately, there’s no detail on the battery capacity of the 7-inch model.
Other features include Multi-Windows support for running multiple apps simultaneously, WatchON, Samsung Link and Group Play support.
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 line up will be available in a choice of black or white cases. Price and release dates will vary by country.
