Samsung Announced Galaxy A8

Samsung has officially announced its addition to Galaxy A linuep – the Galaxy A8.

The handset sports a 5.7 inch 1080p AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB RAM, 16GB and 32GB storage options with microSD card support, 16 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera as well as 4G LTE support.

The design is quite similar to Galaxy S6 with the only major difference is that the Galaxy A8 has thin bezels. Galaxy A8 is just 5.9mm thin which makes it the thinnest smartphone that Samsung has ever released. It has a 3,050mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Samsung has only launched this handset in China right now where interested customers can pre-order starting today. No word as of this press time if Galaxy A8 will be released in other countries across the globe.
