How does God provide security? Can he really make me feel safe?

“The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.” Psalm 9:9

“Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me, for in you I take refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.” Psalm 57:1

God promises to hold you securely, to be your shelter, refuge, and place of protection. No matter how the storms of life batter you, you are eternally secure with God (if you have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior). Nothing can ever separate you from His eternal presence. To be safe, run to Him!

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.Therefore, we will not fear though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.” Psalm 46:1-3
