Sacred Heart High School Batch 1989 to Kickoff Silver Jubilee with Celebrities
The Sacred Heart School- Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-ADC) batch 1989 will hold its alumni homecoming party on December 27, 2014 at 6 P.M. at the J. Center Mall in Bakilid, Mandaue City.
Touted as the biggest and grandest celebration in Sacred Heart history, the event will gather more than 1,000 alumni and current students of SHS-ADC.
This year’s silver homecoming reunion serves as the culmination night of the events that the batch has organized for the entire year.
Along the line-up events that batch ’89 has implemented to reach the community were Medical missions such as Operation Tuli last April 5, 2014 in Talisay City, Cebu, free cataract and varicose operation that is still continuing throughout the year, and other community services.
With this, the High school batch ’89 envisioned to give back not just for their Alma Matter but also to the Cebu Province, implying a very more holistic approach in setting a new culture for excellence through nourishing their mind, body and spirit as they celebrate their silver jubilee.
The homecoming party, which will entails back to 80’s theme, will highlight a fashion show by some of the Sacred Heart Alumni designers including the collections of Anthony Romoff and Peewee Senining.
The event will also be graced by celebrities such as Jessie Mendiola, Maja Salvador, and local and national performers who will pump up the hype with entertainers including Glamgirlz, Go Girls and Power Trio.
With an array of activities prepared, there will be also surprise group presentation from the batch ’89 that will surely made the event more exciting and fun.
Aside from this, in line with the program, the batch ’89 will be also giving awards and honors to the deserving teachers from across the 50’s batches.
The party will offer the participants more comfortable dinner with its table service type of food service, and party all night.
The tickets price range from 600 to 800. The rate includes the foods, drinks, and entrance fee to the LIV Super club for the night’s club party.
The proceeds of the event will support to the planned construction of the dormitory for the teachers of the SHS-ADC.
“Since the teachers take care and guide the students to learn, it is our part (as the alumni) to take care of them,” said the Alumni Association president Marcelino Co.
The alumni batch ’89 is calling out all their former teachers and mentors to attend the awaited homecoming party.
