Run for the Rivers Gaining More Runners

Organizers of the 1ST Cebu Run for the Rivers which is slated on *June 2, 2013* announced that they will waive the additional Php 200.00 on all registration fees.

This is to accommodate more participants at the same time encourage running enthusiasts to participate in this run for a cause.

The 1st Cebu Run for the Rivers is focused on the “Revitalization of Cebu’s River Systems.” The proceeds of this pilot collaboration project of Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Cebu Academe Network, DENR, Cebu City government and other NGO’s and business companies in Cebu shall be used to improve the *Mahiga River*.

Over a thousand runners have already registered. For those who have not, registration is still ongoing in the following registration centers: Runnr – Ayala Center Cebu, Cebu City Sports Complex (Lyle – 0943-3243111), Toby’s Sporting Goods at SM City Cebu and Cebu City Planning Office (Tata Sumaylo – 0908-6187447). Registration is until June 1, 2013 only.
