Ronyel Compra Backroom Sale

On July 24, 2014 (cocktail hour) to August 7, 2014 , 856 G- Gallery will host a backroom sale exclusive of Ronyel Compra’s series of works from 2005 to 2014. Most of the collection is of small and medium sizes and will cover various media and style, from rubber – cut prints, works on paper and mixed media on canvas.

Ronyel Compra, is a Cebuano visual artist that graduated Bachelor in Fine Arts Major in Painting from the University of the Philippines Cebu Campus. As an artist he has been very busy accepting recognitions for his distinct style and material experimentation. Such recognition include being the finalist in 2009’s GSIs painting competition, awarded first place (2006) and second place (2008) for the 32nd and 30th Jose Joya Art Awards. Aside from recognitions, Ronyel Compra has also been busy with exhibits in Cebu’s 856 G-Gallery, SM Art Center and CAP Art Center, and Manila’s NOW Gallery.
