Rock, Paper, Scissors

Rock Paper Scissors is a band competition that pits 20 Bands against each other. The top 7 victors will be included in the first compilation album under Big 7 Records.

The 20 Cebu-based bands will be representing different genres like Reggae/Ska, Rock/Alternative/Emo, Pop/Folk and Metal. These bands will be performing in this series of events and will also be competing for the chance to showcase 2 of their original songs in the upcoming album under Big7 Records. The events will be held alternately between Koa Tree House and The Outpost, with the Finale at The Koa Tree House.

The 1st schedule of the semi-finals event which was rightfully called, “Battle 1”, was held at the KOA Tree House on September 27, 2014. ”Battle 1”, had bands like Flirt, Stonehenge, Radiowaves, The Difficult Stranger, Wednesdays @ 8 and Glenmoril battling it out with Flirt, Wednesdays @ 8 and Glenmoril coming out victorious.

Flirt is composed of Jenny on vocals, Gogo on guitar, Lemuel Pino on guitar, Carl Geverola on Bass and David Suico on drums.
Glenmoril is composed of Julio Casinillio on vocals, Jasun Pelayo on guitar, Eugene Sohiong –on bass, Mark Quiaot on guitar and Nico Toring on drums.

The battle will continue this week at The Outpost on October 4, 2014.
